How to Find Your Model Number

The model number — not the name printed on the front — is what decides which parts fit. It is on the rating label, and the label is almost always in one of three places.

Under the base

Tip the machine forward with the tank removed. Most drip and pod machines put the label here.

Behind the drip tray

Pull the tray fully out. Pump espresso machines commonly hide the label in the recess behind it.

Behind or under the water tank

Lift the tank off. Super-automatics usually put the label on the body wall behind it.

What you are looking for

A code such as BES870XL, ECAM22110 or K-Classic K55. Photograph it — you will need it every time you order a part.
