By using BrewerRepair you accept the terms below. They are written to be read rather than to be impenetrable, and the safety section is the one that genuinely matters.

What this site is

BrewerRepair publishes repair guides, error-code explanations, maintenance procedures and parts fitment information for domestic coffee and espresso machines. It is general information for people working on their own equipment.

It is not a substitute for a qualified appliance technician, and it is not a diagnosis of your specific machine. We cannot see your machine, and a symptom can have a cause we have not documented.

Safety

This is the part to read twice. Coffee machines combine three things that hurt people: mains electricity, water under pressure, and heat.

• Unplug the machine and let it cool completely before starting any work. A boiler holds heat and pressure long after the machine is switched off.
• Release pressure before opening any part of the water circuit. A boiler or thermoblock that is still hot can discharge scalding water when a fitting is loosened.
• Do not work on mains-voltage components — heating elements, thermal fuses, power boards, mains wiring — unless you are competent to do so. Where a repair involves them, our guidance is to stop.
• Never put bleach in a coffee machine, and never mix descaling products.

You perform any repair at your own risk, and you are responsible for judging whether a job is within your competence.

Warranty

Opening a machine usually voids any remaining manufacturer warranty. If your machine is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer before you touch anything — a warranty repair is free and a self-repair that voids it is not.

Parts, fitment and part numbers

We verify part numbers before publishing and list only the models we have confirmed, as described in our editorial policy. Even so:

• Check the part against the one you removed before fitting it. Manufacturers revise components within a model run, and parts that look identical in photographs frequently are not.
• A model absent from a fitment table has not been checked, which is not the same as being incompatible. Do not assume either way.
• Confirm the model code on the machine’s rating label — not the name printed on the front — before ordering.

Prices and availability

Prices shown are indicative and are out of date as soon as the retailer changes them. The listing price is the only accurate one. We have no control over price, stock, or which seller is currently selling an item.

Brand and model names are used for identification purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or an agent of any manufacturer named on this site. All trade marks remain the property of their owners. Where we describe a part as compatible with a brand’s machines, that is a statement about fit, not a claim of any relationship with that brand.

Limitation of liability

The content here is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrewerRepair is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage — including damage to a machine, property, or person — arising from the use of, or reliance on, information published here, or from any product bought through a link on this site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.

Your use of this content

You may read, print and share our pages for your own use and link to them freely. Republishing our guides, fitment tables or diagrams elsewhere, in whole or in substantial part, requires our permission. Fitment data in particular is the result of checking that we would rather readers received in its corrected, dated form.

Changes

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top will change when they are. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
